Our 24th National Family Week Celebration

The theme of this year family week celebration
" Families, healthy lives and sustainable future"
(Matatag na Pamilya, Maunlad  na Bukas)

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, La Carlota Philippine District joined in the celebration of the 24th National Family Week last September 23-30 2016.

“Families are the core unit of the Filipino nation; hence, we need to give importance to strengthening family ties. A strong family contributes largely to a progressive society.”

The concept of a united family that lives and progresses forever is at the core of  Latter-day Saint doctrine. Within families led by a father and a mother, children develop virtues such as love, trust, loyalty, cooperation and service.

The parade was participated by various branches in the church.

The Family as the Fundamental Unit of Society.

A Filipino family is a family of Philippine origin. Philippine families exhibit Filipino cultures, customs, traits and values, of which the most important value is family closeness. Family is the most important unit of our society wherein we can take part in the development and be united in establishing peace and harmony in our home.

My family, we believe that families can be together forever, as long as we stay faithful and obey the commandments of the Lord.

Marriage for Time and for All Eternity

In the afternoon of November 20, 2012 in Cebu Temple, Cebu City Philippines. It was the most unforgettable moments of my life as I said "I do" in front of my eternal companion " Gilbor Camporazo Jr. We both believe that Marriage is ordain of God.

As we enter in this new and everlasting covenant of marriage. We know that our marriage can last forever.

My Marriage is as simple as you can define "simplicity".  After our marriage we take few shots to remember our special day as husband and wife after that we both eat our favorite meal inside the patron house were we stay.
Happiness doesn't take how much we have that day but we have each other, our friends and our family.

It's been 3 years since we were married in the temple of God. As we both embraces our own differences in this life. Trials are great, but trials only challenge us to improve ourselves. They are blessing in disguise. Our hardships teaches us to be stronger everyday and it also help us show greater patience and love for each other.

Our individual weaknesses became our strengths. I learn that if one is weak, the other one needed to be stronger in order to lift the other one.
As we remain worthy until the end, we were promise to live together with our Father in Heaven.
